  • Baltimore Orioles

    A major league baseball team, Baltimore Orioles is based in Baltimore, Maryland. The team was established in 1901 and currently are a member of  the Eastern Division of the American League. The team play their home games at Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland.

    In 1966, the Orioles traded pitcher Milt Pappas to the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for slugging outfielder Frank Robinson. Same year, the team won their first American League championship. The Orioles won three World Series titles (1966, 1970, and 1983), six American League pennants (1966, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1979, 1983), and six of the first seven American League Eastern Division titles.

    In 1992, the team moved to their current arena from the Memorial Stadium. The 1993 All Star Game was also hosted by the Orioles. The team is owned by Peter Angelos.

  • Baltimore Ravens

    A professional American football team, Baltimore Ravens is based in Baltimore, Maryland. The team was founded in 1996 and is a member of Northern Division of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). Brian Billick is the current head coach of the team. The team mascot’s name is Ravens.

    The team play their home games at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1997 Ravens started with 3-1  and finished with 6-9-1. In 1998, the team moved to their current arena from the Memorial Stadium. During 2000 regular season the team started with a 5-1 record and finished with 12-4, thus making the playoffs for the first time.

    Since their foundation, the team has won one Super Bowl Championship in 2000, one Conference Championship in 2000 and two Division Championship in 2003 and 2006. The team finished its 2005 season with the record of  6-10 and 2006 season with the record of  13-3. The team’s colors are: purple, black, and gold.

    An indoor football team, Baltimore Blackbirds is based in Baltimore, Maryland. The team was founded in 2007 and currently is a member of  the American Indoor Football Association. Chris Simpson is the current head coach of the team. The team play their home games at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland USA. The team’s colors are: black, red, silver.
